Renée Koopmans : my wonderful and charming daughter who has been supporting and encouraging me throughout the entire preparation of the race and who will be there to see her daddy finish.

The 'Alyanak-family' : with from left to right Ilhan, Maria, Rebecca, Cemil. Maria being the organizing 'Mom' of the support crew and occasionally running-mate during training. They all will be there to encourage me during the race.

Rob Holden : Ultra athlete (Polar Challenge and UTMB) and training buddy, who gave me loads of good advice on training and equipment and who is looking very much forward to see me sweat my butt off during the race.

Levina Lupoli : the silent and, may I say very sweet, force behind the project, who has been doing an enormous amount of admin work and who will be there the day of the race to give moral support.

The medical crew with from left to right Joanna Morris, Carol Combet Kurt and Kerry White : Sore legs, painful muscles, blisters, chafing wounds... It's all part of the game during the race and Joanna, Carol and Kerry will make sure I get all the medical attention I need.

Ibrahima Fofana : My dear colleague who will be there to encourage me and to drive around the support crew, However he thinks that after the race I should start spending some more time for myself, and do things like finding a girlfriend.

Kalevi Saila and Ivana Nemcova : Another 2 dear colleagues from work who will be playing a key role in the logistic support furthermore Kalevi is already enjoying himself that he will see me suffer.

Brett Barnett : Is a colleague that probably doesn't know what he's got himself into, but has offered to run along for a portion of the race, preferably a downhill part.

Jacob Streijffert : Last but definitely not least, Jacob, the super-fast webmaster of www.peterrunsforcharity.com, who has been all the time available to update the website.
